Connect U-r Voices in Cantonese Opera: Joint-university Cantonese Opera Performance

The Performance, marking the first Cantonese opera singing performance organised by the HKMU Ina Ho Cantonese Opera Research Centre, was co-organised by the Centre for Chinese Music Studies of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Xiqu and Intangible Cultural Heritage Centre of The Education University of Hong Kong. It saw teachers and students from local universities who are passionate and experienced in Cantonese opera gather to perform popular traditional Cantonese opera pieces in diverse roles and styles to promote Chinese opera culture.
