Aims

This course aims to provide students with the fundamental principles of psychology for adjustment, and of the psychological topics relevant to their personal development, as well as an experience of learning psychology that facilitates their further understanding of psychology.

Contents

The titles of the study units are listed below:

Unit 1  Self-understanding

Unit 2  Interpersonal communication

Unit 3  Friendship and love

Unit 4  Career and work

Unit 5  Psychology and physical health

Learning support

Students will be supported throughout the course by regular face-to-face meetings in the form of tutorials (five tutorials) and supplementary lecture (one day school).

Assessment

Students' performance will be evaluated by continuous assessment only in terms of three out of four written assignments.

Students are required to submit assignments via the Online Learning Environment (OLE).
