This course is a middle-level course that provides students with an integrated understanding of Hong Kong society.

Advisory prerequisite(s)
You are advised to study either SOSC A101 or SOSC A111C before taking this course.

Aims
The overall aim of the course is to develop students' understanding of the structure and historical development of Hong Kong society through a comprehensive and critical examination of a growing body of sociological studies in Hong Kong society.

Learning support
There will be regular two-hour tutorials and day schools throughout the course.

Assessment
There are five assignments and a final examination. Students are required to submit assignments via the Online Learning Environment (OLE).
