Happenings
23 Jan (Sat) More than 30 admission seminars introducing OUHK undergraduate programmes will be held. Non-JUPAS applicants and their parents are welcome to join.
1-31 Jan 2021 The construction of the University's permanent campus was funded by the Government in 1992, and the Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony was held in December 1994, with a time capsule ceremony to commemorate the occasion. The time capsule, which contains historic and valuables items contributed by the officiating guests, the OUHK community and representatives of prestigious organizations in Hong Kong, was unearthed earlier. All items are now on display at the podium outside the Serena Yang Lecture Theatre, and an online exhibition is also available with some items digitalized. Don't miss out!
21-22 May The discipline of Chinese creative writing is exhibiting new development directions and potentials thanks to structural changes in the related creative industries. Based on years of teaching practice and academic research experiences, the Department of Creative Arts will hold an international seminar alongside the Tin Ka Ping Centre of Chinese Culture to explore future possibilities of the development of Chinese creative writing. Now accepting abstract submissions until 29 Jan. (To be conducted in Putonghua)
23-25 Jun Organized by the Public and Social Policy Research Centre (PSPRC), the conference will explore pertinent issues on housing and ageing policies in European, American, Asia Pacific and Chinese societies. It is now accepting abstract submissions until 19 Feb.
Programme Info
Part-time (distance learning) programmes offered by the University range from sub-degree to postgraduate levels, while postgraduate programmes are offered in both part-time and full-time face-to-face study modes. Enrolment for the 2021 spring term intake is now open.
