Sustainability and Social Responsibility

The University has adopted the following policies, which set out our aims and objectives for working towards environmental sustainability and acting with greater ethical and social responsibility.

Sustainability Policy

The University takes its environmental responsibilities seriously and aims to manage its operations in ways that are environmentally sustainable, economically feasible and socially responsible. The University would work towards common goals of protecting the environment, minimizing the impact of its operations on the environment and embedding a culture of sustainability.

Social Responsibility Policy

The University pursues the principles of social responsibility and sustainable development both in its engagement with external stakeholders and in the management of its internal operations. It believes that the future of the University is best served by respecting the interests of all its stakeholders: students, staff, customers, suppliers and the wider community. It looks actively for opportunities to improve the environment and to contribute to the well-being of the communities in which it operates.

Sustainability Report

This is the University's first Sustainability Report. It outlines the University's sustainability performance and reviews its sustainability and social responsibility initiatives and achievements over the past few years, which includes sustainability accomplishments in research, education and community engagement, as well as progress in sustainable operations, investments, and mental health and wellbeing.
