The OUHK Great Speakers Series is a new initiative to further our mission of Education for All. Starting from October, renowned figures have been invited to be speakers of the public lecture series, which is the only one accessible by all in Hong Kong through TV broadcasts, turning all of Hong Kong into OUHK lecture hall, and enlightening all in Hong Kong. Information sessions of programmes will be held, where visitors can explore their preferred flexible learning mode, meet OUHK teaching staff and browse through learning materials. There will also be advisory services on course selection, credit exemption and financial assistance.

OUHK will offer a wide range of full-time programmes including four subsidized programmes under 'Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors' through JUPAS scheme in the 2016-2017 academic year. Students with Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) results (past and/or current) can submit their applications via JUPAS website on or before 2 December 2015.

The OUHK Tin Ka Ping Centre of Chinese Culture was officially established with a launch ceremony that took place on 29 October. The Center aims to promote Chinese culture on campus and in the community. A variety of activities will be held with the aim to widen students' learning experience in Chinese culture. It will also serve as a resource centre to support teaching and interdisciplinary research, as well as a platform to promote Chinese culture in the community.
 

The Institute for Research in Digital Culture and Humanities (IRDCH) of the School of Arts and Social Sciences cordially invites all students, staff, alumni, and interested parties to join three of its upcoming seminars in November. The seminar topics include 'children's literature and theatre go digital', 'Chinese feminism goes digital' and 'how do the digital humanities influence research in theatre'.
