    Great Speakers Series  
   

The OUHK Great Speakers Series is a distinguished public lecture series featuring prominent speakers from various sectors. Through broadcast as part of the Open for Learning programme on TVB Pearl, it is accessible by all in Hong Kong, turning all of Hong Kong into an OUHK lecture hall.     RIDCH seminar series  
   

The Research Institute for Digital Culture and Humanities (RIDCH) is dedicated to promoting and conducting research that can generate new knowledge and shed light on new ways of teaching in the creative industries and the humanities. It will hold two seminars in November with local and international scholars invited as speakers. Interested parties are welcome to join.

    Tin Ka Ping Centre of Chinese Culture public lectures  
   

The Tin Ka Ping Centre for Chinese Culture carries a mission to promote Chinese culture and enrich students' cultural learning experience. The centre, jointly with RIDCH, has invited Prof. Michael Lackner, Distinguished Professor of the School of Academic and Social Sciences from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, to give a public lecture. Interested parties are welcome to join.

Topic: Multifaceted Images: China and the Chinese in European Comics and Cartoons

    InfoDay for Postgraduates and Flexible Learning  
   

Information sessions of programmes will be held, where visitors can explore their preferred flexible learning mode, meet OUHK teaching staff and browse through learning materials. There will also be advisory services on course selection, credit exemption and financial assistance.

       Result announcement of Design Competition for OUHK Christmas Card  
   

Jointly organized by the Educational Technology and Publishing Unit, the Public Affairs Unit and the Student Affairs Office, the Design Competition for OUHK Christmas Card was concluded successfully.

The judging panel was composed of Director of Educational Technology and Publishing Dr Eva Tsang, Director of Public Affairs Mr C K Yeung and Director of Student Affairs Mrs Dorinda Fung. The championship goes to alumnus Lai Ho-wai, whereas the merit awards go to alumni Wong Wai-ming and Liu Hoi Yan. The design by the champion will be produced as the official 2016 OUHK Christmas Card.

 
     

      

 
    OUHK souvenirs for sale at Information Centre  
   

From now on, OUHK souvenirs are available for sale at the Information Centre on the ground floor of Ho Man Tin Campus. These include silk ties, silk scarves, hard cover notebooks, folding umbrellas and luggage scales. Only cash is accepted.

 

 
     

      

 
    Knowledge Network Highlight – Leadership and crisis management  
   

Crises often break out when no precautions are taken. This module, Leadership and crisis management, introduces you public administration by offering an interesting discussion of crisis management. The definition of crisis and the different crisis management models will be examined.
