Distinguished Professor Prof. Jeannette Littlemore will report findings from a study investigating how people who have experienced pregnancy loss use metaphor to make sense of their experience, and how the research team has worked with relevant professions to improve the care they offer bereaved parents in light of the findings.
 
2–4 Jul (Thu–Sat)

Over 100 participants from over 20 countries will share their relevant research and good practices as modes of learning and teaching are becoming more open and innovative in terms of time, space, curriculum contents, organization, pedagogical methods, infrastructure and requirements.

Edgar NG Lap-hei, BA (Hons) Creative Writing and Film Arts 2016, receives recognition for his achievement in Cantonese opera at the 14th Hong Kong Arts Development Awards.
 
SAO hosted a successful Summer Carnival to welcome back full-time students on 25 May-5 Jun, then extended it for two weeks into a 2.0 version (8-19 Jun).
