University Updates

HKMU staff and students help community through pandemic’s height

HKMU staff and students have been helping members of the community get through the toughest time of the pandemic in different capacities. They have performed N95 respirator fit tests for frontline workers, supported vaccination for children and the elderly, set up a support centre for the Hospital Authority’s Covid-19 hotline, and run online summer classes for primary and secondary school students.

		Secretary for Innovation and Technology visits HKMU to learn about research achievements Welcoming Secretary for Innovation and Technology Mr Alfred Sit on 12 Apr, President Prof. Paul Lam introduced HKMU’s recent research achievements, including its involvement in the development of the proprietary technology C-POLAR to be applied to products like face masks and air conditioning systems.
