University Updates
At a media gathering, President Prof. Paul Lam revealed the University’s newest facilities in the pipeline for training medical professionals — a 7,000 sq. ft. lab to support the forthcoming MSc and BSc programmes in Medical Laboratory Science and a physiotherapy clinic.

Research & Knowledge Transfer
Half of 107 interviewed kindergartens with EM students were motivated by increased government funding, but many kindergartens find the lack of human resources to be the biggest obstacle in admitting EM students.
 
Since the onset of COVID-19 in early 2020, prices of HOS housing have slipped by 10%, compared with a 0.5-to-2.7% increase in the private market. This reverses the pre-pandemic trend with the prices of HOS housing overtaking private housing.
