New Medical Science Laboratory to open in September Equipped with cutting-edge professional equipment, the new 7,000-square-foot laboratory will support the new Bachelor of Science with Honours in Medical Laboratory Science programme to be launched this September.

HKMU to develop interactive app for Open English textbooks with QEF grant HKMU received a grant of HK$23.1 million from the Quality Education Fund (QEF) to transform the existing Open English textbook series for primary and secondary schools into an app with multimedia and innovative functions, such as videos, animations, games, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and chatbots.

Scholarships and Awards Gala

The University held a gala to express its gratitude to donors for supporting HKMU student development through scholarships and awards.

Visit by new Council members

Three new Council members, Prof. Chetwyn Chan, Ir Alice Chow and Mr Danny Wong, toured around the advanced teaching and learning facilities and student amenities on the University’s campuses.

HKMU President takes on cricket challenge to motivate DSE students

In the video, President Prof. Paul Lam joins students and staff in taking on the challenge of learning to play cricket from scratch, hoping to encourage DSE candidates to face setbacks and embrace the future with an open mind.

Creative Arts Graduation Show showcases students’ imagination with diverse artworks

Under the theme ‘Imagination is Your Playground’, 112 works of over 290 graduating students were displayed, including animations, short videos, interactive installations, photography works, advertising campaigns and creative writing.
