HKMU scholars recognised among world's top

most-cited scientists

Fifteen HKMU scholars were recently ranked among the world's top 2% most-cited scientists, underscoring the excellence and remarkable impact of their research output. The list, compiled by a research team from Stanford University, based on bibliometric data from the Scopus database, includes the most influential scholars from around the world across 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields, considering factors such as citations and authorship. 2024 marks the third consecutive year of growth in the number of HKMU scholars on the list, with the total tripled from five to 15 within three years, highlighting the University's increasing research strengths and international recognition.
