  • Everyday literacy
  • Literary English
  • Stylistic analysis

Learning support

There are a total of 14 two-hour tutorials where students are familiarised with the topics by the tutor.

Assessment

There are five individual written assignments (60%) and a final examination (40%).

  • Assignment 1: Identifying creativity in storytelling
  • Assignment 2: Analysing creativity in everyday writing
  • Assignment 3: Textual analysis
  • Assignment 4: Stylistic analysis of literariness in poetry
  • Assignment 5: Stylistic analysis of literariness in fiction
  • Final examination: Text analysis and essay-type questions
