Aims

This course aims to enable students to develop a better understanding of different novel approaches in extensive end-of-life care (EELC) and provide students with an in-depth knowledge of telehealth, telecare, robotic technology, stem cell transplantation and genomic science in EELC.

Contents

The course covers the following topics:

  • Telehealth and Telecare in EELC
  • Robotic technology in EELC
  • Stem cell transplantation in EELC
  • Genomic science in EELC

Contact hours

Normally three hours per week.

Assessment

The continuous assessment portion of the course accounts for 50% of the total course score, while the examination accounts for the remaining 50% of the total course score. Students are required to submit assignments via the Online Learning Environment (OLE).
