Undergraduate Programmes under the 'Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors' (SSSDP) for the 2021/22 academic year |
|
The Government of the HKSAR has introduced the 'Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP)' in the 2015/16 academic year and regularized the Scheme from the 2018/19 academic year. In the 2021/22 academic year, the number of subsidized places offered by the University has been increased to 1,185, benefiting more local students. For details, please visit the website at www.cspe.edu.hk/SSSDP.
The intake places of the designated undergraduate programmes under the SSSDP are mainly allocated through the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS). Should there be unfilled intake places, the SSSDP participating institutions can admit local non-JUPAS applicants via direct admission of no more than 10% of the subsidized places of each selected programme.
The number of unfilled intake places for each SSSDP programme, if available, and details of the application arrangement will be announced via our website in August 2021. Non-JUPAS local applicants may submit their online applications for these unfilled SSSDP intake places. Application period will be varied from programme to programme, please stay tuned to the announcement from our website. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis until the remaining subsidised places have been filled. Late application will not be considered.
