Study units in ePub format provide a number of features to facilitate learning and enhance your reading experience. These include:
  • Built-in dictionary

This feature allows you to look up the meanings of words.

This feature enables you to highlight important parts of the text (in several different colours), and to write notes as needed.

This feature makes it possible for you to add bookmarks to eBook pages.

This feature provides an audio version of all digital text(s).

iBookcase ebooks provide interactive versions of activities that enable you to input and save your answers, as well as providing instant answer-checking and feedback.

One of the most powerful ebook functions is the integration of audio and video components into the text to help you learn more effectively.

Features highlight (pdf format)

Course materials in PDF format (study units for part-time students, lecture notes for full-time students, and so on) are provided in iBookcase. These files can be viewed via Adobe Acrobat Reader on your tablet (see 'other useful learning tools' for the download procedure). Although the PDF format of study units has fewer features than the ePub format, you will find the following functions very useful in your study:

  • Highlighting, strikethrough, and underlining
