Teaching Support - Mobile learning

As the popularity of mobile devices grows exponentially, mobile learning is becoming more and more important. Hundreds of books can now be packed into one device in electronic format. Compared to traditional printed books, mobile learning has the following advantages:

• Easy to access (portable and supports multiple devices)
• Allows embedding of interactive components
• Allows collaborative learning
• Encourages self-paced learning

With this in mind, the ALTO has developed a number of mobile apps that aim at facilitating teaching and learning.
