Awarded 'Hong Kong Humanity Youth Power'

 

Dennis Cheung Pak-shun

Bachelor of Social Sciences with Honours 2010

 

After his graduation, Dennis has been working as a registered social worker to support drug counselling service for years. In 2014, he started the WeCycle programme, aiming to help ex-drug abusers change their lives through sports activity. Recently, Dennis was honored with the award of 'Hong Kong Humanity Youth Power' at The Hong Kong Humanity Award 2020 in recognition of his humanitarian contributions.

 


Mindfulness for infants and toddlers book published

In December, Stephen and his wife published a book on mindfulness for infants and toddlers, sharing their experience in promoting mindfulness in Hong Kong and incorporating mindfulness in parenting. 

 

 

Welcoming a new member of the family

 

Serena Hon Wai-kei

Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours in Accounting 2016

 

After her graduation, Serena worked in an accounting firm and accomplished her goal of becoming a certified public accountant last year. She also attained her Master's degree and has recently given birth to her daughter, Hiu-yee on 12 December. The Alumni Affairs Office congratulates the new parents and wishes the little one many years of good health, love and happiness.

 


First place in prose writing competition

Alumna Li Jun participated in a prose writing competition organized by Cosmos Books and was crowned the champion. Her essay along with other winning pieces have been published in Hong Kong Literature Bimonthly (issue no. 109).
