In view of the latest development of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) epidemic, the Alumni Affairs Office, taking the health and well-being of participants as our top priority, has decided to cancel the upcoming talk below which originally takes place on 26 February.

From the Chinese medicine perspective, influenza and pneumonia are both illness of the respiratory tract, mainly attributed to exogenous infectious factor and very often occur when there is abnormal or change in weather. They are highly contagious and can cause epidemics. In view of the abrupt increase in the number of infected cases, it is crucial to learn how to protect ourselves from these seasonal illnesses. Dr Clarence Chou Wing-fu, registered Chinese medicine practitioner, will talk about the prevention and treatment of these seasonal illnesses in the upcoming Alumni Café while member of the Chinese Medicinal Nursing Association of the OUHK (Alumni) Mr Leung Wai-ho, will also share daily healthcare tips.
