Ina Ho Cantonese Opera Research Centre, School of Arts and Social Sciences, HKMU, in collaboration with Ms Kang Wei-fun from Yue’en Opera Society (樂恩曲藝社), will organise a 'Cantonese Opera Family' on August 10, 2024 (Saturday). There will be a seminar introducing Cantonese opera knowledge and a performance basing on the Cantonese opera Visitor from Outer Space created by Ms Kang. Instructors will guide participants to experience Cantonese makeup, rehearsal, and performance on the spot, and parents and children can even perform on stage together!
