Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Chinese

This programme aims to equip students with an in-depth understanding of Chinese language and literature. Training in communication and pratical writing skills will be provided to enhance students' language proficiency. In the area of Chinese literature, this programme will help students develop the ability of literary criticism. Both classical and modern literary works from a range of genres and relevant literary theories will be covered. To enable students to gain a comprehensive understanding of Chinese language and literature, basic knowledge in Chinese culture will also be introduced.
