World University Animation Awards (WUAA) (世界大學動畫獎)

The World University Animation Awards (WUAA) (世界大學動畫獎) will take place on 16 and 17 September 2025 in Hong Kong. This is an exciting opportunity for institutions and students to showcase their creativity and connect with fellow filmmakers and audiences worldwide.
Students who are current studying, graduate from the 2024-25, or from the 2023-2024 academic year are also eligible to submit the entries in animation short films. Shortlisted films will be screened from international adjudicators, who are distinguished international animation professionals, visual artists, animators, documenters, art tech experts and scholars.

Event
Authors whose work enter into the final and international adjudicators will be invited to attend a full programme on 16 and 17 September 2025 of master classes, forums, screening of the finalists' work, and mingling with local and international creative arts students. The Award Ceremony will take place on the evening of 17 September 2025.
