CELTICS Showcase: Crafting Your Path – ePortfolio Design Competition

We’re thrilled to announce a competition designed to encourage you to make the most of the Co-Curricular Extracurricular Learning Toward Innovative Comprehensive Soft-skills (CELTICS) ePortfolio. This platform facilitates student reflection and assessment, allowing you to showcase your achievements and skills to potential employers and institutions.

A&SS will be launching this competition titled “CELTICS Showcase: Crafting Your Path” to inspire you to create personalized ePortfolios that encompass a comprehensive record of your extracurricular, co-curricular, and service-learning activities both within and outside HKMU.

There will be three awards of HK$5000 each for the winners, selected by the judging panel based on the following criteria:

1. Completeness of Portfolio Content:

• Students will be evaluated based on the comprehensiveness and depth of their ePortfolios, showcasing a wide range of extracurricular, co-curricular, and service-learning activities within and outside HKMU.

2. Reflective Practice:

• Emphasis will be placed on the quality of reflection within the ePortfolios, demonstrating thoughtful analysis and insights gained from their experiences and learning activities.

3. Innovative Presentation:

• Creativity and innovation in presenting achievements and skills through the ePortfolios, showcasing unique talents and capabilities to potential employers and institutions. The aesthetical and pleasant effects will also be evaluated.

4. Alignment with CELTICS Objectives:

• Assessment of how well students align their ePortfolios with the goals of the CELTICS platform, including reflection and assessment, showcasing achievements, and assessing university programmes or institutional outcomes.

5. Engagement:

• Evaluation of the students' engagement with the platform and its features to create a compelling narrative of their personal and academic journey. The skill of storytelling is a key.

Start crafting your ePortfolio with the CELTICS platform. Follow the User Guide, create your ePortfolio, and complete the online submission form. Be sure to carefully read the key points for participants and the terms and conditions in the form., and submit your entry by the deadline of 21 March 2025 (Friday).

The results will be announced by the end of April 2025.
