Francis Chan
Head of HR Center of Excellence, SAP

Francis Chan leads efforts to drive customer adoption and value delivery of SAP's Human Experience Management (HXM) solutions.  He has spent time working in the Silicon Valley and APAC for a number of global HR technology companies, in product management, business development, and consulting capacities, and has acquired deep Talent Management expertise.  Francis also acquired HR practitioner experience as an HR Director for a global manufacturing company, and led efforts in HR Analytics, HR Technology, Performance Management, and Young Talent Recruitment and Development. 

Francis holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.

Steve Parkes
Senior Partner, Page Executive Hong Kong, Michael Page

Steve Parkes is a Senior Partner with Page Executive as well as the Head of the Hong Kong Office.  Steve has lived in Asia for more than two decades and brings 18 years of executive search experience having successfully led searches across China, Hong Kong, Korea, and Taiwan for both domestic and multinational clients in the FMCG and Consumer Products sector.

As a Senior Partner, Steve's focus is the search and selection of commercial leaders including Regional Presidents, Country General Managers, Heads of Sales, Marketing, Digital and Ecommerce.  He has also matured strong functional search experience in the areas of Financial Officers, Human Resources and Supply-Chain. 

Steve joined Page Group in 2007 and has held leadership positions for the organisation based in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indonesia.  Steve is Canadian born and a double degree holder from the University for Waterloo and University of Toronto.  Steve resides in Hong Kong with his wife Heather and children John and Celeste.

Sue Wei
Managing Director, HAYS Hong Kong SAR

Sue Wei is a Chinese American who spent over 20 years in the US. She began her career in the advertising industry in New York, and later moved into the recruitment sector in Shanghai, China, where she has spent the last 12 years. Sue is currently the Managing Director of Hays Hong Kong SAR with over 90 consultants offering contracting and permanent recruitment services to diverse international and Asian clients across various sectors and specialisms, including Accountancy & Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Technology, Supply Chain & Procurement, Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Property & Construction, Life Sciences, and Banking & Financial Services.

Titania Woo
Executive Director, Hong Kong Management Association

Titania Woo joined The Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA) in 1995 and is now the Executive Director of the Association.  Over the years, Titania dedicated herself to promoting management excellence.  Under her leadership, the HKMA has enhanced its service offerings and provided a wide range of Bachelor, Master and Doctorate degree programmes in partnership with renowned universities worldwide as well as diplomas, certificates, seminars and workshops so as to bring in the latest management trends and development.  Various annual business forums and awards of the HKMA have become important yearly  flagship  events  and  established themselves as the most respected accolades in their respective industries.    The HKMA also offers an excellent platform for members and business executives to network, exchange of ideas and further their knowledge.

Titania spared no efforts  in  promoting  sustainability.    She spearheaded the establishment of the Association's Sustainability Committee in 2014, the launch of the Hong Kong Sustainability Award in 2016 and the setting up of the HKMA Global Centre for ESG Education and Research in 2021 with great success.   In 2021, she pioneered the establishment of the “Business with Purpose” platform together with Social Ventures Hong Kong to promote shared value strategies and goals that benefit both society and corporate performance.  She also devoted herself fully to the promotion of innovation.  Under her leadership, the Association continuously stays on top of the latest market trends and introduces many relevant courses and activities.  In 2022, she reinvented the HKMA Academy for Innovation and management and launched the inaugural HKMA/HKT Global Innovation Award, aiming to advance the competitiveness of different sectors by encouraging them to embrace innovative mindsets and active transformation.

Titania is currently a member of the Incorporated Management Committees of the HKMA David Li Kwok Po College and the HKMA K S Lo College as well as an advisory board member of St James' Settlement and Hong Kong Red Cross. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from The University of Hong Kong and a Master of Commerce from the University of New South Wales, Australia.

Randy Chiu
Visiting Professor, Hong Kong Metropolitan University

Randy Chiu dedicates his professional life in HRM education and has extensive experiences in administration and management consulting during the last 30 years. He has given more than 100 talks and published 100 academic papers. He was awarded the Outstanding Human Resource Educational Elite in Greater China Award, Outstanding Contribution to HR Award and the Medal of Honour by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2012. Randy now sits on various committees in QF, HKCAAVQ, ERB, etc.

At the forum, we will ask the following questions:

  • How does technology advancement necessitate job design/redesign and upskilling/reskilling in different industries in Hong Kong?
  • How does technology on talent acquisition expedite talent hunt and candidate experience?
  • How can the 6 B's talent tactics be best mixed and used in today's talent shortage situation?
