The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) is designed to advance the professional development of senior practicing managers and professionals in the business world. DBA focuses on topical and applied management issues. With the professional orientation of the DBA, the underpinning programme is a combination of taught courses and thesis.
Applicants to the programme must satisfy the following entry requirement:
Full-time: 4 years
Part-time: 8 years
This programme is available in both English and Chinese. Students can choose to enroll in either the English or Chinese programme.
DBA students have to complete 60 credit-units (cru) of course work before proceeding to the DBA thesis and oral examination to meet the graduation requirements.

Students must successfully complete BUS 9050BEF / BUS 9050BCF before they can enrol into BUS 9080BEF / BUS 9080BCF. They must complete the coursework of both courses successfully to be eligible to proceed to BUS 9090BEF / BUS 9090BCF writing the DBA Thesis.
There is no credit exemption for the course work or thesis parts of the programme.
This is a face-to-face programme delivered at HKMU's Ho Man Tin campuses. Courses will be delivered in all academic terms of the year, including Autumn Term, Spring Term and Summer Term. Full-time students are required to attend classes on weekdays and weekends, while part-time students are required to attend classes on weekday evenings and weekends.
