Biography

Before joining Hong Kong Metropolitan University, Dr. Banerjee has worked at City University of Hong Kong as a full time Academic Teaching Staff. Prior to this she had 3 and half years of teaching and research experience as an Assistant Professor at KIIT School of Management, India. She also has Industry experience of 4 and half years as a Private Banker with India's largest bank, ICICI Bank.

Teaching Areas & Research Interests

Core subjects taught include Business Case Analysis, Business Communication, HRM and Strategic Management. My research passion includes Psychological Empowerment and Subjective well-being along with Gender Diversity and Inclusion practises. I am also interested in Fiction Novel writing and am a published author with Hong Kong Women in Publishing Society.

Gargi has worked as a Full-time Post Graduate Management Research Intern at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Hong Kong from 2022-2023.
