Biography
Candace holds a Master of Philosophy in Hotel and Tourism Management and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Tourism Management from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Aspired to be an academic, she acquired her academic experience in Singapore and is now in Hong Kong. She is experienced in teaching, curriculum development, and management for undergraduate and adult training programs.
On top of her academic role, she strives to forge a strong relationship between academics and industry through applied/consultancy projects. She was active in collaborating with the hotels and attractions industry in Singapore on projects relating to digital transformation, customer experience mapping, and job/process redesign between 2017 and 2022.
Prior to joining the academic field, she attained her industry experience in the tourism and attractions industry.
