Biography

Dr. Lam obtained his Doctor of Philosophy from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Post-Doctorate in Financial Engineering from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Financial Planner, Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants (UK) and Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants (Australia).
 
Dr. Eddie Lam worked in the financial industry for thirty years, with previously position of the Vice Chairman of a Hong Kong listed company with market value of over HKD300 billion, Executive Director of the investment bank and Investment Director of the MPF company. He has conducted many high-level consultancy projects for government and business entities including the Korea government and the Korea Mortgage Corporation, Countrywide International Consulting Service (US), Shanghai Future Exchange and the China Merchants Fund (Shenzhen). He is also the author of 40 books and 2 board games in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan.
