Biography
Huimin Liu is a Senior Lecturer at Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration, HKMU, specializing in tourism and hospitality. She instructs courses on introduction to tourism management, event management, designing tourism experiences and digital portfolio management.
Her research interests include tourist experience, online and offline tourist behavior, and trauma in tourism contexts. She has participated in various academic and professional research projects, such as the Philadelphia International Airport Passenger Survey Project and the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) internships. She has also acquired multiple skills and certifications, such as IBM SPSS, experimental methods, meta-analysis, and structural equation modeling. She is motivated by the goal of advancing the knowledge and practice of tourism and hospitality and general business through data-driven insights and solutions.
