Biography
Dr. Leslie Kam received his Doctoral Degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from Polytechnic University, MSocSc in Sports and Leisure Management and BA (Hons) in Physical Education and Recreation Management from Hong Kong Baptist University. He has devoted himself to the recreation industry and promoted quality recreation services to society. Before Joining HKMU, he worked in managerial positions in various NGOs such as Po Leung Kuk and Hong Kong Scout Association.
In addition to extensive experience in the industry, Leslie has more than 10 years of experience in academia and teaching Sports and Recreation Management courses at various tertiary institutions, including School of Continuing Education of Hong Kong Baptist University, THEi, and The School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) from Higher Diploma level to Master Degree level. He is also regularly invited to serve as an external reviewer and programme review panel member of tertiary institutions to provide professional advice on their leisure and sports management programmes.
