About the MAFRMF Programme
 
 
This programme aims to strengthen students' professional competency and broaden their strategic and global perspectives. Graduates will become well-equipped professionals capable of handling risk management issues in today's complex business environment.


The University is one of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP)'s Academic Partner institutions which combine rigorous teaching with practitioner-driven vision. The University offers the Master of Applied Finance in Risk Management and works closely with the GARP to ensure that its risk management course offerings meet the latest global industry needs. The programme also prepares students for the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) examination organized by the GARP.

Programme Intended Learning Outcomes
  1. Critically evaluate the contemporary risk management issues using relevant theories and practices.
  2. Apply the concepts to solve financial risk problems encountered by corporations as they present themselves in real-life situations.
  3. Formulate financial strategies and policies with consideration of financial risk management framework.
  4. Communicate effectively as a business executive with people in the same and different disciplines in the context of risk management.
