Investment and sustainable development are interconnected as public and corporate investment decisions indirectly impact the environment.

In episode 9 “Investing”, we explore green finance and responsible investing, examining how financial decisions influence environmental and social sustainability. We discuss topics such as promoting renewable energy, improving energy efficiency, and reducing environmental pollution through green finance. Representatives from NWS Holdings, Kanaya Investment, Friends of the Earth and MTR discuss sustainable finance and the importance of considering environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors in investment decisions.

【MBA Acceleration Programme in Dubai】

MBA students visited Dubai SME, Dubai Chambers and Dubai Future Foundation last month to gain an in-depth understanding of Dubai's business environment and opportunities. Students also had the opportunity to communicate with industry leaders and establish valuable connections.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the representatives of these institutions and companies for their hospitality and arrangements, which greatly contributed to our students' knowledge of Dubai's industries, and entrepreneurial and innovative developments.

【MBA工商管理碩士課程—加速計劃-迪拜】

MBA工商管理碩士課程的加速計劃將理論與實際應用相結合。學生參訪了迪拜經濟和旅遊部、迪拜國際金融中心企業園區、中國移動國際和香港駐迪拜經濟貿易辦事處，讓學生們深入了解迪拜作為國際商業和創新中心的獨特地位，以及中國企業在迪拜及阿拉伯聯合酋長國的投資和合作機會。

【MBA Acceleration Programme in Dubai】

The MBA Acceleration Programme puts theory into practice. Students visited the Dubai Department of Economic & Tourism, DIFC Innovation Hub, China Mobile International and Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Dubai.

These visits provide students with an in-depth understanding of Dubai's unique position as an international business and innovation centre, as well as the investment and collaboration opportunities for Chinese companies in Dubai and UAE.

【MBA工商管理碩士課程—加速計劃-迪拜】

MBA學生早前於3月前往迪拜參與了加速計劃，參訪了多家當地機構和企業，其中包括迪拜環球港務集團的港口設施及中東電子商務巨頭noon的物流設施。學生認識到迪拜在全球供應鏈中的關鍵角色，並了解中東地區物流和貿易業務的挑戰和機遇。

世界第一高樓哈里發塔的發展商伊瑪爾地產代表，亦向學生們講解了伊瑪爾地產在阿拉伯聯合酋長國 (UAE) 地產市場的領先地位以及其成功的策略，讓學生獲益良多。

【MBA Acceleration Programme in Dubai】

In March, our MBA students visited Dubai and participated in the Acceleration Programme. They visited various local institutions and companies, including DP World's port facilities and the logistics facilities of noon. This experience provided students with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities in logistics and trade in the Middle East.

Students also met with representatives from Emaar Properties, the developer of the Burj Khalifa, discussing the company's leading position in the real estate market of the UAE and its successful strategies, enriching the students' learning experience.

28.05.2024 👏👏 Congratulations to Year 4 A-Team student ZHANG Yiwen who was selected as one of the five finalists and being awarded the cash prize of HK$8,000 in the Pitch Perfect Programme organized by the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC). The program was sponsored by five leading organizations: Cathay Pacific Airways, Ernst & Young, MTR, Nan Fung Group x The Mills Fabrica, and New World Development Co Ltd.
