The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) is designed to advance the professional development of senior practicing managers and professionals in the business world. DBA focuses on topical and applied management issues. With the professional orientation of the DBA, the underpinning programme is a combination of taught courses and thesis.

About The Programme

Admission Requirements

Applicants to the programme must satisfy the following entry requirement:

  • A recognized Master's Degree in business administration or a business-related field or its equivalent; and substantial working experience at senior management level as determined by the University.

Language of Instruction

This programme is available in both English and Chinese. Students can choose to enroll in either the English or Chinese programme.

Programme Structure and Contents

Students have to complete 60 credit-units of course work before proceeding to the DBA thesis.

Students must complete BUS 9050BEF / BUS 9050BCF before they can enrol into BUS 9080BEF / BUS 9080BCF. They must complete the coursework successfully to be eligible to proceed to writing the DBA Thesis.

There is no credit exemption for the course work or these parts of the programme.
