Stanley TAM Kwok Ming

Biography

Stanley is an independent filmmaker, film editor and actor. He is the chairman of (HKSE) Hong Kong Society of Film Editors (2018-20) and a member of (CASH) Composer & Authors Society of Hong Kong currently. He has many years of film and video experience in production and post-production. His short films have won awards and were officially selected and screened at festivals in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Norway, Netherland, Portugal and Turkey. In addition, he was a part time lecturer in many tertiary institutions before joining HKMU.

His feature debut “Breeze of July七月好風” is the opening film of Hong Kong Asian Film Festival 2007 and got the best new director nomination. He has been nominated as the best editor in 2007 the 12^th Golden Bauhinia Awards for “Exodus出埃及記” (directed by PANG Ho Cheung). His film project “Loveliness of Twinge愈痛愈美麗” was in The Golden Horse Film Project Promotion (2014). The recent editing work is Amos WHY's “Napping Kid逆向誘拐” (2018).
