Dear Colleagues and students,
We are pleased to provide further benefits in Physiotherapy Centre that the HKMU staff and students will be able to receive Physiotherapy service per session at $560 and $320 respectively with effective date on 1 December 2024.
This change will encourage greater utilization of our services, thereby promoting overall health and well-being among staff and students.
We will also extend our Physiotherapy service during lunch time ( 1:00pm to 2:00pm ), after 6:00pm and even Saturday morning session ( 9:00am to 1:00pm ). Pre-booking for treatment is required.
Also, the injured students from HKMU Sports Team can use the $200K donation first now without necessary using up the $10000 insurance first. We will also extend the subsidy Physiotherapy treatment sessions from 5 sessions to 10 sessions for each HKMU Sports Team student. Injured students from the Sports Team will be treated as soon as possible even without written approval from SAO. However, a doctor’s referral and confirmation of the injury from the coach and related staff to Physiotherapy Centre is still required. The standard application for the subsidy through SAO is still needed for the injured students to complete the application procedure.
