We are thrilled to announce the pilot launch of Wi-Fi 7 in the Stanley Ho Library and Ho Sik Yee Library, making them the first places in the HKMU Main Campus and Jockey Club Campus to upgrade with this cutting-edge technology!

The new Wi-Fi 7 is a joint initiative of the Information Technology Office (ITO) and the Library. This service will bring you the following benefits:

• High-Speed Connectivity: Wi-Fi 7 provides significantly higher speeds, enabling faster downloads, smoother streaming, and a seamless online experience.
• Enhanced Capacity: With improved bandwidth, Wi-Fi 7 supports more devices simultaneously, ensuring stable and reliable connections even during peak times.
• Lower Latency: Perfect for real-time applications like video conferencing, online seminars, and lectures.

We invite you to visit the two campus libraries to experience the benefits of Wi-Fi 7 firsthand. Connecting to Wi-Fi 7 is as simple as before. You just need to select "SSID: HKMU7" and log in with your HKMU Login Account. A user guide is also available on the ITO website for reference.
