Biography

Cheng Sei-hong is a filmmaker based in Hong Kong and London, earning his BFA in Film and Television (majoring in directing) at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, and MA in Filmmaking at the London Film School with distinction.

His short film, Couple on Stage, won the Best Fiction in CAPA Film School Prize 2014 and was selected for screening in Beijing and Moscow. He is also active in theatres, television, and commercials. He directed the RTHK TV drama The Storm to critical acclaim and was subsequently nominated for South Award at South Taiwan Film Festival 2016. He also directed and edited RTHK 30s TV Promo “We're Still Here”. He also worked as a commercial photographer for Adidas and web advertisement director for companies such as Shiseido and Extra.
