University email

The University email is the main form of communication between university staff, Course Coordinators, tutors and students. During the study period, every student is given a University email account (@hkmu.edu.hk) that is equipped with an email forwarding feature. Academic and administrative information will be sent to your University email account. Thus, it is essential that you check your University email frequently or set up email forwarding to an email address that you check often so that you will not miss any important updates. Your email account contains 1GB of space, and you are advised to manage it well.

You can access your email through Webmail: http://webmail.hkmu.edu.hk

To protect students' personal data, the University will only send emails to your University email account. This includes any responses to emails that you have sent from your personal email account. You are strongly advised to email the University with the University email account to protect your privacy. In case you have to email the University with a non-University email account, you will be required to quote your student number in the email. The University will reply to your University email account only. To facilitate communication, you can set up email forwarding under “Options” after you logged in Webmail to automatically forward a copy of all emails to a personal email account of your choice, as follows:
