French Class

Learning a new language can be challenging, but it’s also worth it!

Just imagine being able to speak French like Emily in the show ‘Emily in Paris.’ It’s an exciting opportunity you wouldn’t want to miss!

The Language Centre will launch a French class for HKMU full-time students. Let’s find out more from below!

Class features:

Designed for beginners.
Learners can interact, communicate and work in groups during class.
The course will help you with all the main parts of language learning: speaking, listening, reading, writing, and interacting with others.
You’ll start with the very basics of French, which is great for beginners who want to learn everyday French.
You’ll cover topics like introducing yourself, saying hello, and talking about your likes and dislikes. You’ll also learn the basics of French grammar, like how to make simple sentences and use prepositions.
The French class is offered by an institution called Interactive French. They believe that it’s better to focus on the most important things when you’re learning a language. Their curriculum is simple and effective, so students can build a strong foundation in French before moving on to more advanced topics.
No course fee (with a refundable deposit!)

Online Zoom classes (learners are required to switch on the webcam for better interaction between the teacher and learners).
Learning materials will be available online.

Application details:

Class quota: 25 spots (There are only a limited no. of spots available, and filling out the application form doesn’t mean you’ll definitely get in.)
Medium of teaching: English
Eligibility: HKMU full-time students
Pay $300 deposit (to be refunded to learners having attended 80% or above of the whole class)

If there are any arguments or disagreements about registration or class arrangement, the Language Centre has the authority to make the final decision.

Successful applicants will receive a separate email confirming their application and $300 deposit payment link within next week.
