In this one-day English Bootcamp designed exclusively for students joining HKMU this year, you will get to see some fresh faces as we encourage you to use English through a selection of fun activities and give you an introduction to some key skills you will need for your university studies!
Key Features of this bootcamp:
  • Participate in fun language activities to make friends with other new students.
  • Develop essential English skills to succeed at university.
  • Learn how to write university essays in English.
  • Improve your English presentation skills.
  • Discover how to use ChatGPT to enhance your learning at university.

* Please note:

  1. This activity does not count for credit and is not mandatory. It is a relaxed English learning activity; we aim to provide our incoming Freshmen with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with an English learning environment before starting their studies.
  2. Throughout the entire training camp, we will communicate mostly in English. Students need to be willing to listen to and speak English.

  • Please arrive at the venue 10 – 15 minutes earlier for registration.
