HKMU attended the Social Services Committee of Kowloon City District Council in June 2022 to collect comments.
Public consultation activities have been commenced since early August 2022. HKMU held 16 consultation sessions with the following social welfare groups, schools and housing estates in the Ho Man Tin community to give briefing on the new campus development, and received supports from most of the organisations. 11 organizations also provided written support letters. In March 2023, the new campus development also received written support letters from both the University Students’ Union and the Alumni Association.
