Facilities Management Office Projects Completed Development Jockey Club Campus

In December 2010, the OUHK succeeded in applying for a land grant for a site at Chung Hau Street in Ho Man Tin to develop a new campus, indicating the Government's recognition of the role of the OUHK in providing quality higher education. It forms the base of three areas of the University's full time programmes: Nursing, Creative Arts and Testing & Certification.

The over $700 million Jockey Club Campus project, completed in 2014, is a 12-storey structure with a total gross floor area of approximately 25,000 square metres.  It can support a total student population of 2,400.  The design incorporates innovative environmental features to reduce electricity consumption and facilitate air circulation.  The building had achieved the Platinum Rating under the BEAM Plus Version 1.1 for New Buildings.

The Campus includes film, animation and sound studios, and laboratories for testing and certification and for nursing.  It also features student-oriented Active Learning Classrooms and Learning Commons.
