Biodiversity Innovation Forum 2024 – Event Highlights

The Biodiversity Innovation Forum 2024 concluded successfully on 25 October 2024, bringing together experts, scholars, and business leaders from various fields to discuss innovative solutions for biodiversity conservation. The forum provided a valuable platform for participants to share best practices, exchange insights, and collaboratively pursue a sustainable future.

We had the privilege of hosting Mrs. Karina Concha, the Consul-General of Chile in Hong Kong and Macau SAR, as our esteemed VIP at the forum. The event featured a keynote address by Mr. Harry Chan, widely recognized as Hong Kong’s “ghost net hunter,” who captivated the audience with his compelling insights and experiences in marine conservation. The forum commenced with an inspiring introduction by Prof. Ricky Kwok, Vice President of Research and Institutional Advancement at Hong Kong Metropolitan University, setting a motivational tone for the discussions that followed.
