HKMU is looking for enthusiastic young graduates of the University to commence their careers in a supportive environment.  This opportunity is specifically tailored to nurture a maximum of 20 HKMU's graduates annually to contribute to their alma mater.  It offers a unique chance for talented individuals to embark on a journey of professional growth and development in a higher education setting.

CANDIDATES WE LOOK FOR

  • Bachelor's degree graduates from HKMU within the past two years
  • Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
  • Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and  a good team player
  • Proficiency in computer applications

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

FAQ

A1: The timeline for the Trainee Programme is as follows:
     Application Period: 1 to 31 March 2024
     Written Tests / Interviews: May / June 2024
     Result Announcement: July / August 2024
     Commencement: September 2024

A2: An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates. 18 days' annual leave, staff-development sponsorships, medical and dental benefits, and life insurance coverage will also be provided.

A3: The Trainee Programme offers a variety of training components, including on-the-job training, job rotation, structured training programs (BLISS), executive exposure, mentorship programs, and a buddy scheme. A minimum of 48 training hours per year will be provided to trainees under the “BLISS” training framework.

A4: HKMU undergraduates expected to be graduated in 2024 and Bachelor's degree graduates from HKMU within two years since 2024 are eligible for applying the programme.
