Part-time Student Trainee

The School of Science and Technology would like to invite applications for the position of Part-time Student Trainee.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following: 

• Assisting in performing inventory checking for chemicals and consumables;
• Assisting in conducting safety checking for safety facilities and fume hood;
• Assisting lab staff in preparing materials and cleaning up for training classes; and
• Performing field works / experiments according to supervisor's instruction.

Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes: 

• Full-time face-to-face students who are taking SCI S390F Professional Training and Workplace Attachment or TC S390F Industrial Placement in 2021 Summer Term.

Duration of Appointment
June 2021 – 31 May 2022

Compensation Package
HK$65 per hour. Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract.  Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
