Library Online Orientation Quiz with Prizes

Upon joining this activity, all participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out by the HKMU Library.

Terms and Conditions

The “Library Online Orientation Quiz with Prizes” (referred as “Quiz” below) is open to all active students of the Hong Kong Metropolitan University. An active student refers to a student who is currently enrolled in a course in Autumn term 2024 (September 2024).
Upon joining this Quiz, all participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.
The only way to participate in this Quiz is through the dedicated online form only. Other means of participation and submission will not be accepted.
Entries with all quiz questions answered correctly and valid HKMU email address provided will enter the Lucky Draw.
If the same student ID number is found to have been submitted to the Quiz repeatedly, only the last submitted entry shall prevail.
Each participant can submit more than one completed quiz form. However, each participant can only win once.
Lucky Draw result will be announced on HKMU Library Website (www.hkmu.edu.hk/lib) in November 2024. All the winners will be notified via their HKMU email for prize collection.
All winners must collect their prizes within two months upon receiving the email notification from the Library. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited two months from the date of email notification. The Library reserves the right to re-allocate the prize after the deadline.
No warranty or maintenance service will be provided for the prizes.
All personal information collected in the Quiz will be kept confidential and used for the Quiz and all the Quiz related promotion matters only.
The personal information submitted by the winner must be complete and correct. In case the information submitted by the winner is found incomplete, incorrect, used or registered repeatedly, the Library reserves the right to disqualify such winner.
The Library staff will take photos of the prize draw winners and prize presenters during prize collection. The photos may or may not be used in Library promotional materials, at the discretion of the Library.
The Library reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any winners that it deems to be in breach of the above Terms and Conditions. The HKMU Library's decision on the winners will be final.
This Terms and Conditions has been translated into Chinese. If there is any inconsistency or ambiguity between the English version and the Chinese version, the English version shall prevail.

A participant can gain more entries to the lucky draw by attending one face to face or online orientation workshop, or follow HKMU Library Instagram account, post the screen capture showing he/she had completed the quiz and tag HKMU Library Instagram account.
