Adverse Weather Arrangements

Classes/ Examinations/ Seminars are to be cancelled if the Typhoon No.8 or the Black Rainstorm signals are still hoisted at:

1. 6:30 am : for Classes/ Examinations/ Seminars before 2:00pm

2. 10:00 am : for Classes/ Examinations/ Seminars between 2:00 – 6:00 pm

3. 2:00 pm : for all Classes/ Examinations/ Seminars on that day

Signal hoisted during Classes/ Examinations/ Seminars

Typhoon No.8 or above:

All Classes/ Examinations/ Seminars to be terminated; self-study centers will be closed.

Black Rainstorm:

Classes/ Examinations/ Seminars already in progress will continue; self-study centers will remain open.

Signal Lowered

Classes/ Examinations/ Seminars are to be held as schedule* if the Typhoon No.8 or the Black Rainstorm signals are lowered before/ at:

1. 6:30 am : for all Classes/ Examinations/ Seminars on that day

2. 10:00 am : for Classes/ Examinations/ Seminars between 2:00 – 6:00pm

3. 2:00 pm : for Classes/ Examinations/ Seminars at 6:00 pm and after

Remarks

All School's activities will normally be held as scheduled when Typhoon Signal No. 3 or below is in force or when Red / Amber Rainstorm Signal is in force.
Public announcements will be made as soon as possible whenever necessary. General public announcements from the Education Bureau do NOT apply to HKMU LiPACE.
If necessary, examinations will be rescheduled and students will receive information about new arrangements within two weeks of the original examination date.
