Research Workshops

School of Nursing and Health Sciences Exergaming Research Centre for Healthy Aging Research Workshops
The Exergaming Research Centre (ERC) for Healthy Aging has organised a series of workshops to provide guidance and training opportunities to early- and mid-career researchers to enhance research skills and capacity, nurturing future scholars in the field of exergaming, scientific evaluation and implementation science. A key aspect is to learn from our experienced researchers to learn about leading real-world research, from projection conception, putting together research proposals to their planning and execution. The focus of this series involves a mix of theoretical considerations for running clinical and community-based trials and observational studies, and practical aspects of using non-invasive tools to obtain physiological measurements. Hands-on opportunities will be available to learn about the practical aspects of ultrasound and functional near-infrared spectroscopy.
