We are writing to update you on the status of the Nursing License applications that are going to be submitted to the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
We have noticed that there are several pending Mobile Assessment System (MAS) records that need to be updated by students. This is a crucial step in the license registration process and any delay in updating these records may result in a delay in the processing of your Nursing License.
We understand the importance of obtaining your Nursing License in a timely manner and therefore, we urge you to update your MAS records as soon as possible. This will help to prevent any further delays in the license registration process.
Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that all your records are up-to-date and accurate. If you need any assistance or have any questions regarding the updating of your MAS records, please do not hesitate to contact the Clinical Practicum coordinator or email at nhslicense@hkmu.edu.hk.

Council replied that they need an additional 1-2 weeks to complete the process. We understand that this may cause some inconvenience, but we assure you that the Council is working diligently to expedite the process.

We have been asking The Nursing Council of Hong Kong (NCHK) about the Registration and Practicing Certificates issue. The Central Registration Office of NCHK replied that the certificates would be available in a month later. We will notify you on this webpage when we have any updated information from the NCHK.
For the refund arrangement of the registration fee (HKD 645), the refund would be credited to your bank account directly. An email and SMS message would be sent by “SAO OUHK” to your OUHK student email account and mobile phone respectively for the refund arrangement. Please follow the instruction as indicated in the email and SMS to provide the required information to complete the refund process on or before 12th October, 2020. If there is no SMS message or email received before 30th September, 2020, please contact Mr Law at 2768 6148 or email to: cclaw@ouhk.edu.hk.

The arrangement of collecting the NCHK letter from 19/8 onward is as follows:
If you cannot collect the letter and nobody could collect it for you during the above timeslots, please collect the NCHK letter at the General Office of the School (11/F, JCC) from 19/8/2020 onward, Monday to Friday, during the above office hour.
**Please bring your student ID card for collecting the letter personally or provide an authorized letter to other classmate for collecting it for you.
The School is arranging students to collect the NCHK letter in the campus starting from 17/8 (pm) or 18/8.
Detailed information would be posted here on Monday (17/8) morning.
We have confirmed with the Central Registration Office of The Nursing Council of Hong Kong (NCHK) that the applications for registration/ enrollment have been approved. The letter from NCHK for your registration/enrollment status will be sent out on next week.
