The year 2024 is a busy one for the Department of Physiotherapy as we are celebrating the graduation of our first cohort of BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy students. This marks a significant milestone for the department, established in 2020, and is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our students and staff.

Our physiotherapy programme stands out by providing students with tremendous faculty-led exposure opportunities across the lifespan and clinical areas, especially those that occur in the community. Students find themselves immersed and engaged in these life-changing opportunities while learning to become physiotherapists. These opportunities contribute to shape students into competent and compassionate physiotherapists.

Looking ahead, we are committed to establishing ourselves as the preferred physiotherapy programme for students, the industry, and society. We will continue to focus on innovative pedagogies and applied research, cultivating and nurturing our students to meet their personal and professional development needs.
